Not for Mac owners
Danae•February 20, 2018
F Forget about it if you own a Mac. Instruction pamphlet written in pigeon English does he tell you how to format a flash drive. Even if you do formatted in a fact format it doesn't work. And if you Submit a question their site nobody will answer it
To me it was easy to use

My dad tells a lot of stories, I recently had he sit down and record his stories to cassette using a mini handheld recorder. I had transferred them to regular cassette size and was planning on dictating them to words on computer. I heard about converters and went shopping. I choose this one because of the size and price. Resembles an old walkman I use to have. To me it was easy to use, I am not using for music, just voice, but I am so happy with having my father's stories at the push of a button at any time. It is made of plastic, but I have no kids and it simply sits on my desk. For me it is wonderful
This thing sucks.

As far as converting goes, there are skips in the mp3 files here and there, and it decided to just stop converting 2 1/2 songs into the cassette. Also, 128kb? Really? No "output to .wav"? Basically, coming from someone who's decades-old passion for music and tech is concerned, just push "play" and import it straight from the headphone jack into your mic input. Better quality and no "skips" or periodic stops during the onboard conversion process. It's made from really flimsy plastic, like everyone else says. I gave it 2 stars because at least it still plays cassettes, but as far as it's intended function of "On the fly conversion" is concerned, don't trust it. There are just no shortcuts, folks. Sorry.
Easy to use. Great for decluttering.

It's nice to be able to have this do-it-yourself option and not have to pay someone for the service. I am in this decluttering posture right now of converting books on tape, some of my old radio show broadcasts, psychic readings, and a whole slew of bands that were popular in the 70s and 80s to mp3. Sound quality is just as good as the original recordings. Easy to use. Makes a great gift.
Easy to use, No Fuss !!

In the past I had bought a similar product which was very confusing and had poor sound quality. Not this time. It was unbelievably simple and easy to use that it took me less than five mins. To be already recording my first tape. Totally recommend this converter to anyone who has a huge collection of memorable tapes they can't bare to lose. You won't be disappointed.
