I use Slimfast Advanced most mornings in lieu of breakfast. Having cut most sugar from my diet a few years ago, I find Slimfast is a bit too sweet for me if mixed solely with milk. As such, I mix it with plain kefir and ice cubes which keeps it from being too sweet for me while also providing a daily dose of probiotics. Whenever I notice my weight creep up a few pounds (after holidays, vacations, etc.), I use Slimfast for both breakfast and lunch until the pounds drop off. When using twice daily, I eat a modest dinner with plenty of vegetables and if I get too hungry during the day, I supplement with treats such as hard boiled egg, walnuts, hummus, or Icelandic yogurt.

This is probably best slimfast I have tried. Only issue is getting it to dissolve in milk. When I use my shaker bottle and a few Ice cubes it does pretty good. I have on occasion had to use a spoon and it does not mix well that way. I also like the reduced sugar content and higher protein. Price could be better but cannot seem to find any competition so I guess they can charge what they like. All the other brands have way more sugar from what I have seen on the market.

I love chocolate milk, so I like drinking this. I feel full after, it lasts 3 hours or so. Then I have nuts, or fruit when I feel hungry, before the next meal. I've been having one for breakfast and lunch, then a normal dinner, during Monday thru Friday. And, I have cheated some days, having a small dessert. And I have lost weight. Only 3 pounds a month (two months now), but I'm okay with that. I haven't had restrict my diet, other than the shakes of course, and I haven't exercised. I want to lose another 6 to 10 pounds. The Amazon deal is the best I've found.

I have such a peeve for people who don't read about an item then leave a negative review about something they were informed of from the start. The product was 22.8 oz not including the container. You were not ripped off. The label which is also included in the item description clearly show that the 20G protein is including milk. They do this for boxed cereal, too so you know what you're getting if consumed as intended. I don't know anyone snorting this powder for 20g of protein, do you?

The flavor is actually really good. I've been using it in a blender bottle with reduced sugar almond milk, so I'm only getting about 14-15 grams of protein from it, but I pay attention to my diet so I'm getting all my macros and other nutrients. Between using this 1-2x per day, cutting down on bread/soda, and exercising regularly I've lost 15 lbs in 1.5 months.

I'll say though, that since I use almond milk with this it's not quite as filling as it could be for a true meal replacement, but if anything I just have a small hand full of cashews and raisins or something and/or a coffee through the day and I'm good. Last thing I want to reiterate on the flavor. I had super low expectations, but was thoroughly impressed with the chocolate shake flavor. It's like a thicker, velvety, delicious chocolate milk. It tastes like it should be terrible for you and I almost get disappointed at the end of a serving because I actually enjoy it and don't get sick of it (though its been about a month since I started with the slim fast).

I definitely recommend it, just don't expect a chock full container and you're good.

I always liked SlimFast with protein. Keeps me full and essentially replaces a full meal. The creamy chocolate flavor is just perfect to satisfy a sweet tooth as well. The only thing is that it takes mental strength to recognize that it won't satisfy like a fatty meal may. Once you get through that hurdle, it's easy enough. I personally recommend replacing your lunch with it and eating a small meal in the evening if weight loss is what you want.
