Having never bought shoes for my child online, I followed the measurements in the provided size chart. According to the foot length a 1 should have fit perfectly. I kid you not, there was a solid 1 1/2 inches of space between her heel and the back of the shoe. My daughter usually wears a 12, and that's I ordered the second time around (haven't arrived yet, hopefully they fit)
Only docking 1 star for the the fit chart, otherwise shoes are light and seem well made.

Look these are great value for money and we are happy that JaBasics exist. No, they are not Dr Martins or Clarkes so we were never expecting that high-end quality but don't expect to be disappointed. They look great on my daughter's feet, and at the time of purchasing these shoes, they were the only back-to-school provider selling BROWN mary jane kids' shoes.
