It was time for a new collar for my 180 pound female mastiff. The previous collar was a rugged military style one that was 1" x 26" camouflaged pattern with custom embroidery. As my tiny princess trapped in a big dogs body grew a little thicker in the neck area, it was time to search for a new collar. What caught my attention here was how then the collar was and the extra 1/2" in the width and thinner that the previous one I had. I also liked the fact that the Large seemed large enough for big breed dogs but that you could also get a custom size. I asked a few questions before buying to confirm size and Polly (Owner) was happy to help.
My girl seems to enjoy it. She has room to grow and I like how the collar cinches when you go for walks. It allows you to keep it a loose/breathable around the house. The one thing I do miss is having the custom embroidery but that what dog tags are for right?! So far so good. Great quality, and follow up by Owner.

The collar is really cute and the fabric is nice BUT I bought this martingale collar for my Dobe. The metal is the junk metal that almost all collars are made of these days. It broke in less than a month. Disappointed because it was really cute and washable. Why hasn't anyone realized you buy a martingale to control a dog and it needs good heavy duty metal, not pot metal with high stress points for fatigue. Finding a martingale with good metal is almost impossible these days. If they upgraded the metal I would buy this again.
Just buy it. You'll be happy you did.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I bought this collar when my dog outgrew his last choker. I noticed an immediate difference in the way he responds while walking on a leash. When I'm away my parents watch my dog for me. They both noticed the improvement as well. So much, in fact, that they just bought the same collar for their dog, too!
An added bonus is how great the collar looks. Rarely, fashion meets function in this department. Sacrificing awesomeness for practicality. But this collar delivers beautiful, vibrant colors AND works better than any others I've ever purchased.

Softer than another less expensive 2" same type collar I purchased at the same time as this one. Looks great on our 62 pound Lab female...size medium is perfect and still has more wiggle room if needed in the future.
We had a thinner Martingale with part chain before. She is only 9 months old and still has puppy brain when she sees other dogs...would pull and choke and cough with the narrower part chain version. We were worried about tracheal damage with all the coughing. The broader softer If It Barks has not produced the coughing, so we are happy

Fantastic collar for leash training. This one is recommended by our dog training facility. It's great because, unlike the chain choker, it is not going to crush the dogs larynx. We have used a harness which was also good but allowed our 80# Labrador Retriever to really throw his chest into a lunge. This collar prevents that. It is sturdy and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it. This brand is made in the USA and when I say excellent quality and workmanship ... I do mean excellent. Actually, we have 2 large dogs and we ordered one for each. No regrets here! Great seller.
