This product definitely works, and is a beautifully made high quality hair tool-- but it essentially does exactly what our crimpers from the 90s did, for 3X the price. The look and feel of the voloom is awesome, but I couldn't justify keeping it for the cost. If you are looking for volume, find a ceramic crimper for a fraction of the $$$ and you'll end up with very similar if not exactly the same results

I just received my Voloom iron, overnight superfast shipping. The product itself looks amazing. The issue is that it is advertised to have 3 clips and it has only two. The box was a bit squashed and was not sealed. Other than that everything else looks very promising and well made. 👌

Does it do what it says it does? Yes. Is it over priced? Yes.
I recently got a shorter haircut and was having trouble keeping volume at the roots. I do think this product creates volume at the roots that looks nice. I have had a couple times that I've been out and noticed the crimping underneath even though I style and hairspray the top layer over it. I also had trouble finding another product that creates this pattern in the hair, although I know they exist I think the price of this is really high because there aren't many other products like it out right now. I do enjoy it but definitely don't think it's worth $140.
