Very sturdy roof rack

I was able to modify the mounts slightly and use this roof rack on my Honda CRV. It's designed to go on a flat roof but is easily modifiable if you have a grinder, vice and drill bits. It's much less expensive than the typical roof rack designed for a small SUV but very solid construction. I don't expect to have any issues.

Install on this product was a breeze. Just pulled back the upholstry, installed bolts (i added silicome caulk for a total seal, although the gaskets were very adequte), replaces the upholstery and then tightened the set screw to lock lengthwise. No issues. Very sturdy. After a week of use no complaints whatsoever. I installed them on an '13 chevy uplander. Great value compared the the other $200+ choices on here.
The 3rd bar is worthless.

It's a nice quality ladder rack but that 3rd bar is worthless. Save your money and buy the 2 bar setup for this particular make and model vehicle which mine is a 2011 Ford Transit connect. The middle bar sticks up farther then the front and rear bar due to the curve of the roof so it teeder todders on the middle bar. You can't use it. I didn't use the hardware it came with. I used self tapping screws and a cement sealing adhesive. But the bungee hooks on the sides are nice and the ladders definitely do a good job staying put at least while traveling.

For the money you really can't beat it. All the parts were there and the installation was easy enough for one person. I placed mine 48 inches wide so I could also load a sheet of drywall or two when needed. I had to adjust the angle of the the base pieces just a bit to meet with the curve on the cap but all in all it was a good buy.
