As a pulse oximeter, the display is rather dim. It does rotate like your cell phone to orient the readings to make it easier to read and that's nice.

After having many problems with the Bluetooth from the app, recommended on the package support contacted me.
They told me of a PRO app. I deleted the other app installed this new app, and it appears to be working!
The item went from just being an average pulse ox meter to one that keeps records so I can show my Pulmonologist.
Now I would recommend this product to my family and friends.
In fact, I already have.
