This is the PERFECT gel pack for pain relief. I looked closely between several ice packs and different sizes and after using this ice pack 6 times a day for 2 weeks and more to come (shoulder rehab), I am completely convinced this is the PERFECT gel pack. There really is not even 1 thing I do not like and I am so glad I chose this one!
There are lots of things I love about this gel pack:
1 The quality of this gel pack - the gel freezes quickly and lasts a very long time- I can easily leave it on for an hour rotating it between different places and it is still cold! impressed I have really loved the quality of this product- and am impressed with the high quality. Sometimes I wish the sections would prevent the gel from moving between sections and other times I can see the benefit of it. For the most part, it really does stay put which is great.
2. The size of this ice pack is perfect! I debated to know if this would be too small to cover my shoulder as well as some of my shoulder blade in the back and front shoulder muscles. However, it really is the perfect size- covers front and back generously without it being too big and too heavy. I would definitely recommend this size because if you need it a little smaller, you can easily fold in half or a third. Any bigger and it would be too big and too heavy.
3. The removable cover with 2 large adjustable Velcro steps sewn into the cover to keep the ice pack in place while you rest or are moving (one around your body and a shorter one for around your limb). On one side of the cover is thinner mesh which goes on your body and the other side of the cover is a thicker, soft fabric to keep the pack isolated better and warmer to touch. It is easy to remove the washable cover (held closed by long thin Velcro strips), put the ice pack in the freezer which prevents your ice pack from inadvertently smelling like the freezer!
4 Three semi closed sections of the gel pack- meaning the sections are not completely sealed off but there is a divider that provides a little bit of a barrier. This keeps the gel in its place for the most part and then you can manually put more gel in one section if you want (that takes a significant effort so it does not happen easily on its own with normal use, which I like- the best of both worlds)!
5. This purchase is FSA approved. After recovering this gel pack I can easily see how the quality allows it to be considered a professional product and not just a gel pack.
6. The company is amazing and great to work with. I got a coupon for a free gift and the gift was of higher value than my original purchase! And the high quality gift they sent as well. I'm so glad I purchased this one opposed to others I looked at.
If only all companies provided such quality, and provided such great customer service. Really a 10 star purchase!!!
