This is a nice looking lamp. I really like the clear shades with the Edison bulbs. I thought it would need a dimmer but each light can be lit independently so don't need It as much. It was easy to put together and seems good quality.

Lamp is great. Good quality, very sturdy. But I have never, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, encountered such profoundly terrible packing. I am a millennial; I haven't bought something bigger than a roll of paper towels from a brick and mortar store in about ten years. So I'm accustomed to weird shipping and packing situations. I've received the tube of tooth paste in a box the size of a couch cushion, toilet paper wrapped in bags of air, a cast iron skillet in a padded envelope - I've seen it all. This box could've been shipped to me via cannon and would have arrived undamaged. But the packaging was so secure and dense and weirdly engineered that I could hardly get to the product.

The lamp came secured into what appeared to be two pieces of styrofoam taped together along the whole seam where the pieces joined, in multiple places widthwise and lengthwise; there was also a fair bit of cardboard sealed into the packaging with packing tape. This means you essentially have to cut the lamp out of the styrofoam. The styrofoam was the kind that dissolves more or less on contact, which made breaking the giant piece of it down to fit down the trash chute in my building a delight. You'd need to break it down even to fit it into one of those big, municipal issued curbside trash barrels. It was everywhere; I had to vacuum the whole room; I had to vacuum myself; I had to vacuum the walls.

If you have the emotional and psychological fortitude to spend an hour cutting your lamp out of the box and then somehow having an even harder time cutting apart the packing material just to dump it in the trash then go for it. It is a lovely lamp, very sturdy, very good quality.

Five stars for the lamp, less one star for that hour of my life I'll never get back.

I looked for a floor lamp that I could use for work and home combined. I work virtually and I needed a lamp that can take 150 watts. This is the one. I had no issue with delivery. All were intact. I would not solely use this lamp for virtual lighting needs alone. I have ring lights that are cheap so I didn't want to get another ring light. I think this lamp solved my problem also using my ring lights.

Very happy with this purchase. Lamp is made well and beautiful
