Silent alarm!

Could not hear the alarm. The controls and the quality of the radio were nice, and I would have kept it anyway and used my phone for an alarm, because the projection was so good, but then I had some trouble turning it off. The volume stopped working and I could not turn the radio off or lower it. Over all, not worth the trouble.
Display is either blinding or impossible to see!

Thought it had everything I wanted (dual alarms with weekday/weekend options, projection, usb charging, digital tuning for radio), but alas, it's unusable. The display on high is so bright it is blinding and lights up the whole dark room, but low or auto is so dim that it's impossible to see at night, especially without glasses. Further, the wake with radio actually starts with a buzzer first and then switches to the radio. If I wanted to hear a buzzer, I'd set it to the buzzer wake setting.

The main display is fantastic, large and easy to read. The projection display I've found to not be very useful and have it shut off. The am/fm radio sounds reasonble and the control buttons are fairly easy to use. I still prefer to use my phone as an alarm clock however.

I'm very happy with this product. I love the projection feature and the ability to focus the image. The radio has decent reception - better than I was expecting. The only thing I would like to see improved is the automatic display setting. In our room, when we set the display to automatic, it is not bright enough for us to see the clock time effectively. It isn't a big deal. I leave it set on Hi for the daytime and then just change it at night to a dimmer setting.

There is nothing that I don't like about this clock radio. It works great and has everything that it says it has. Two things I love - I can charge my phone with it because of the USB outlet and I love the projected time on the ceiling. That is a new "must" for my alarm clock radio.
