We love this game! I love that the top is open and you don't have to pry the top off like other versions of Kerplunk. Nice to have several ways to play with the addition of the blue velociraptor.
A quick new favorite for my son

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old for Easter. I was a little nervous that it would be too much for him, but he LOVES this game. It's great because there are 2 sets of rules: traditional rules (whoever gets the most dinosaurs loses), or "save the blue raptor" (whoever gets the blue raptor wins). Because a dinosaur-loving 3-year-old absolutely CANNOT comprehend why you would ever want to have the LEAST number of dinosaurs, we tend to play the save the blue version of the game, which is perfect for him. I usually handle the setup, but as far as actual gameplay, he has no problem. I also feel like the pictures sometimes make it look like this version of the game doesn't have that many sticks or dinos, but you have 30 sticks and 30 dinos, so plenty of challenge, even for adults who are playing along with the kids. I would definitely recommend this game!!
Not just basic Kerplunk but with dinosaurs added. It’s ramped up and much more fun. .

This is one of those rare games that is easy enough for very young kids but also challenging enough to keep adults entertained . Of course it's particularly special for dinosaur lovers.

There are two variations and both are fun.. Tne first is closer to regular Kerplunk , with players rolling dice and then removing the stick that matches the color shown on the top of the die.

The object is to avoid letting monkeys fall to the ground. Because they hang on the sticks by their tails, there's a good chance that even if they fall they'll simply land on another "branch"... so there's some suspense.

The second variation relies on a blue monkey which is included with the game. The object is to be the player who gets the monkey to fall to the ground first.

This is a fast paced game which kids like to play repeatedly. It's a nice addition to a " rainy day" kit.
Hours of fun!

This was a gift for my cousin and he loves it! It's pretty intuitive (He's a Spanish speaker so he couldn't read the instructions). The only problem was the state which I received the box. It was all smashed which isn't what one would expect to give as a gift.
5 year old thinks I am a pretty cool grandma.

This is a big big hit. My grandson and I love to check out lots of games and he was thrilled to get this one from Santa for Christmas. He was so excited he had a little melt down over being able to cheat to get Blue out quickly. Lol. After we set the ground rules and he realized grandma wasnt allowing cheating we got to playing by the rules and we had lots of fun. I am sure we will play this lots. 2 ways to play. Either try to get as few dinosaurs to fall out as possible to win or be the first one to get Raptor Blue to fall out. You put Blue at the top after adding the green dinosaurs. Play is fairly fast. 5 to 10 min per game.
