My doctor recommended these to cover my Dexcom G7, since their adhesive wore down quickly in humid summer weather. It feels secure on my arm now and I can function normally without worrying if it will fall off!

I love Simpatch, and have used it for years! However, the package I am using right now (delivered 9/26/22) is not so great. The perforations on the back are not complete on one of the side tabs so I end up having to rip it. Also, the edges seem to be coming up and rolling within a couple days which is unusual in my experience with this product. I hope the package I received this week is better when I start using it.

I wear a Cgm daily and needed a durable cover. I wore these for awhile but it hurt so much to remove I went a different direction. I tried the Clear Tegaderm Patches. I really liked these at first but they would roll up when wet so I went back to these because I do water aerobics and its a waste of money to replace a Tegaderm daily. This time around I don't rub these like it says to get a better stick, I just put it on. It does roll some now but doesn't rip off my skin and leave huge bruises when I remove it. I even tried unisolve adhesive remover and it didn't work on this. If you want something to really stick I recommend this, is you have severe sensitive skin like I do be careful. This particular batch is causing some issues. First the backing doesn't want to come off and the preforations don't tear as easily. Once it's on its on, there is no adjusting it. After about 10 minutes of wearing a black adhesive circle forms around it. The worst part is removal though, I have had some come off no problem this batch doesn't do that. It's tearing skin and almost impossible to remove. Once I get it off I'm left with an adhesive mess that I have yet to find a good removal.

These things work great to protect your sensor from being caught and peeled off you by hard edges and just generally help the longevity of sensor patches. I found myself having to regularly replace cgm patches before they were due and this has cut this down to almost nothing. Worth it, like an extra layer of protection for your medical device.
