thoughtful cable design
Aaron D. Ritter•June 13, 2018
This is the kind of cable you want. It's big and beefy, with copper teeth, copper or at least copper-plated cables, and rubbery handles that surely provide good insulation. The gloves are a nice bonus, though they're largely unnecessary, as 12 volts is not dangerous to a human (except under extreme circumstances). The main risk is touching the clamps to something you shouldn't and creating a short circuit.
The little tags on the cables are nice for idiot-proofing, just to help ensure you're connecting the clamps to the right things. The carrying case is pretty typical and does a good job of keeping them under control in your trunk.
