While re-inking my tires i discovered that the applicator tips don't always apply well no matter what you do. Lucky for me i still had the empty pen that worked well. Removed the applicator tip from empty pen and put it into the full pen. So if you got a tip that works great keep it chances are if buy as many pens as i have you will have this problem at some point.

I ordered the red to color in the Firestone on a new set of tires. It's said that one pen will do two tires. That's kind of stretching the truth a bit. I wound up using a fat red permanent marker to start the lettering on the second tire and then finishing it with the pen. You have to be very careful also as the ink wants to run. After all the trouble, it was worth it because the tires look great. Now to see how long it lasts.

Bought the tire markers, the white and blue. Obviously you're going to have to do touch ups. Had this item in my tires for about 2 months now, there's cracking, haven't washed my car since I put it on, considering I don't drive much. There is a clear tire coat on top to help make it last longer. We shall see when I finally wash it what happens.
Putting it on: it's easier putting it on if the tire is laying flat on the ground, ensure you clean well. My tire was already coated with black tire paint, not sure if this affected how well the tire is holding onto the the tire, but never have to put tire shine in my wheels again soo. Paint does come out quite a bit if you push to hard, recommend having a piece of paper or something similar nearby to test it in so the paint doesn't overfill the letters and make a mess.
Durability: unknown, but cracking, could be due to the tire paint I put on prior. Will test again in Spring to confirming if this is why it's cracking.
