Great wide calf wellies

I struggle to find good wide calf boots. I am a runner have 16" diameter calves. Most regular boots are between 14-15. Many wide calf boots are too large. This was the case here. I had about a 2 in gap between my leg and the boot so the looked very large on me. I still use them to walk the dog. Not something I would really wear out since they look kinda funny on me.
The rubber in both boots cracked within a couple of months

I got a pair of these for my wife, who initially loved them. Unfortunately, after a few months of light use, the rubber has cracked on both feet around where the toebox flexes, meaning that they are now useless as rainboots, since they are not waterproof. I suspect that the rubber is too thin and/or poor quality, and was easily stressed to the point of cracking.
Fits well and cute to look at.

Love the boots. They are always to put in and take off. I wear a size 7 woman's and ordered that size- fits true to that size with thin socks. If you wish to wear thicker socks you might want to order a size up. They are cute and functional.

A year on the farm and they are still working well.
No holes, or stresses. The only annoying part about these is the pigs think the buckles on the side of my boots are toys.
They are not insulated well, so any extended period spend in the rain/barn/cold you will want to add a layer of thick socks.
There is cushion in them, so they don't get uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. Although, I think if you have extra wide feet, steer clear as they are a little narrow.
