I wish I had discovered these years ago. I put them to a good test the other morning when I took my dog on our usual 1-mile morning hike in 24 F temps that translated to 12 degrees with wind chill. Normally, my gloved hands would begin to lose feeling and become painfully cold about halfway through the hike. With these gloves on the high setting they remained completely comfortable for the entire hike. There is no user manual, so you will want to check the questions section of the product listing to see an explanation as to how to turn them on, how to tell which heat setting is selected, etc. I also was surprised at how long it took to fully charge them (hours), but I suppose we have just been spoiled by the speed at which our iPhones charge up. They are definitely worth the purchase!

Not bad. I've used them about 7 times in the last few weeks. I've found that they work best if you pre heat them before you go outside. Today, when I took my dogs out, it was 22 degrees F. I turned them on before leaving the house and in 3 or 4 minutes they were warm and they did the job. I'll hold the 5th star until I've had them for a few months.

Wrote a bad review before. I now found that the battiers turn off if you hold the on button down for a few seconds. So you do not need to take them out of the gloves each time. Only used them one day. The picture shows like they heat the fingers but instructions state only the palm and back of the hand, There is a little heat that reaches the figures, but not much. But for the price they are OK.

These have worked out well. The heat comes from on top of the glove/hand, but it definitely helps keep the whole hand warm.
I live in central Pennsylvania, and I've tried various gloves, and double layering gloves, and mittens, and always had icy cold hands.
These electric heated gloves make a big difference in keeping my hands warmer. Since the heating elements don't go down to the fingers, I sometimes pull my fingers up a bit for more warmth. I'd love to try the mittens.

I read the reviews from others before I made a purchase. As a typical review, one person wrote, "These gloves heat the BACK of the hand. They DO NOT have heated fingertips. And the temperatures listed are inaccurate. 150 degrees would have your hand sweating, and these gloves do get no where near that hot, even at room temperature." I found this statement to be fairly accurate but if you take into account that if the back of your hand is kept warm the blood flow to your fingers will be warmer.

I have Raynaud's so my fingers and toes become sensitive in colder weather. My fingertips often go cold and numb when driving in the winter. I bought these gloves to reduce this problem. In the short time that I have worn these they seem to help some. Like most reviewers I wonder why the heating elements in the gloves don't go down the fingertips. In fact I would Winter Electric Heated Gloves with Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, Waterproof Insulated Heating Driving Gloves, Thermal Arthritic Gloves for Men and Women (7.4V, L) prefer that there was more heat in the fingers than the back of the hand.

A word of caution. I have large hands and purchased the large gloves but they are quite tight and it takes a little extra time to put them on. Be sure to measure your hand with a tape measure so that you order the size that will fit you the best. Also be aware that the gloves have a very long cuff that does not necessarily fit over the cuff of a parka.
