One of our cameras was not working, and we tried to find a way to contact the seller in hope of getting one replacement camera, but we couldn't, so unfortunately we had to take them all down and return them all, which was not an easy ordeal, so I doubt we will buy another set, but for the price, and user-friendly aspects, compared to other security cameras we have had, they are great, and our son has 6 of these cameras on his house, and he loves them!

I have purchased a few of these systems over the past couple of years and plan to buy more in the future. I use these on my rental properties. They help the renter feel and stay safe but they also help me to solve mysteries. (Had someone damaging something at a property and discovered it was their daughter sneaking out meet up with friends.) They are easy to install and easy to use. If you need to copy an incident on to a zip drive it is easy to do. I had an incident where a tenant's child was playing with matches and started a fire and we were able to give a file to the police and fire marshal showing everything from every camera what happened and when it happened. I also like to add another camera from the same company that records audio. That allowed us to hear every word the kid was saying when playing with the matches and starting the fire. We could fast forward to when the fire department showed up and the police showed up and you could hear everything.
The night vision is so good that the only way to tell that it isn't daylight is that you notice that everything is in black and white. We had some people sneaking around another house night after night. It was funny to watch the people try to stick to the shadows and skulk around in the darkness. It was funny because on the screen it looked they were walking around in broad daylight and with that extra camera with the audio we could hear most everything they were saying even though they were trying to keep quite. The cops thought it was funny too. You could see them hiding in the dark and hear them talk about what they were stealing and the drugs they were doing and selling and the people they... well you get the picture. I was there when the cops confronted a few of them. The cop started saying they had been seen at such and such place and one of the tweakers quickly spoke right up and said that there was no way anyone saw them because it was pitch black where they had been and no one was around to hear them. The cop produced the video of them and asked if that was or was not them. The fight that broke out amongst the criminals was amusing to say the least. Each accusing the other of ratting the other out.

The screen being part of the main unit keeps things from "walking" off to be used on something else or someone trying to use it as a tv. It does not need to be hooked up to the internet but it can be so you could use your smartphone to watch the video feed from anywhere if you so wanted too. So, I as a landlord and the tenant can keep track of things.
To be honest I was very reluctant to install cameras on my rental properties but after one renter had so many problems we agreed it would be best for both them and myself if we could prove what was going on. The system worked so well I offered them to other renters and they have come to love them too. One renter likes to move the screen to where ever they are working. (That way they can keep an eye on the front door.) They simply unplug the unit, pick it up and go to another room and plug it back in. The system will automatically reconnect with the cameras in a minute or two and begin recording with out you having to do anything.
Also, the 3Tb hard drive can hold a lot of video. With only three cameras installed on one system, one of the cameras being the one that can record audio, we had over six months of recordings on the hard drive and still had room for more. Yes, I will buy again.

I really love this system so far. Very easy to set up and use. The cameras are amazingly clear for both day and night vision. The night vision is very clear as I have ever seen. Tech support answers any and all questions. The Monitor is great, it is so very clear and easy to use. Instructions are very easy to follow. Really love this system and will recommend to others.

i got this product on amazon. Price was good. Easy to install i actualy did it myself without contacting a technician. i installed it at my mom's house so she can feel safer and protected knowing that i can monitor her house from my phone. night vision is wonderful you can see things clearly. i do need to add more cameras to the home secury system i just got 4 when i bought it and i need 2 more. i'll definitely recommend this product

Bought this product because I am tired of paying for the extras IE: Cloud storage. I wanted something that would record and store at location. This definitely does. I was unable to use it with the phone because I will not pay for the Cloud. But it does hold 7 or more days that you can go back and review on the machine. Downside is that if you have more than 2 cameras the windows on the NVR are very small, if you want them all to be displaying at one time. Currently looking at upgrading to a separate monitor screen to make them larger since I am going to be adding a couple more cameras, and lord those monitor display screens do NOT need to be much smaller, I would need a magnifying glass.
