I've been using a potty patch for my 5lb Chihuahua and never had an issue, however this particular one doesn't seem to drain well, and after she uses it moisture stays on her paws and then all over the floor, could it be defective?
Cheaper than Potty Patch and works just as well.

Works as well or better than the Potty Patch, and it is cheaper. Also, not shown in photos - but it has clips on each end to hold the three parts in place. If I was buying another one, I would buy the Paws & Pals patch :) If I had found it first, I would have just bought two of them. It helps, so you can rotate them - rinse one outside with hose, and while it dries - use the one that is in reserve. I heard some dogs don't like them - mine does, and uses it just fine :)
