We love it, its sturdy and the nicest pool basket basket I've ever seen. We've received so May compliments from our friends and relatives. Certainly worth the money. Shipping was amazing, it got here in four days (ref shipping), would definitely recommend it.

1 star for now, because the package arrived and I started putting it together - only to find out that there was no rim in the box. Kind of defeats the purpose. I'll gladly update the review if they send me the rim I paid for. Either way, it's frustrating because my kids were excited to use it today. And it's not exactly an inexpensive purchase. Quality control should be better for this price!
Pool hoop that is Done Right!

So far so good. I purchased this product 1 1/2 month ago and so far it is everything I hoped it would be. It is being used on a daily basis and no signs so far of any rust and the net is holding up well. Because it is a regulation size rim, we can use any basketball we have. It is sturdy weight and with the base filled with water, it doesn't budge with wind or with my kids ages 14 and 11 slamming on the rim. I am a stickler about reminding them NO HANGING ON THE RIM. As for the assembly I pretty much did it all myself except when I got to the part of attaching the rim and backboard to the support, that was a 2 person job but all in all it probably took me less than 30-40 minutes to have it completely assembled and filling the base from out of the box. I did not treat the rim or the fasteners with any rustoleum spray, so I want to see how it holds up against rusting. I have a regular chlorine pool and the rim that came with this set up is supposed to be a stainless steel rim. If I begin to notice any issues with rust, I will post another review to update at a later date.
Very sturdy; worth the $

This took 2 people to get set up; it was a bit challenging but worth it. This basketball set is very sturdy! I previously bought a cheaper model, other brand, and it lasted one season; we've had this for a few months and I can tell this will last a long time; there are no signs of wear at all. We use this almost daily; we have a salt-water pool.
