I wanted to upgrade from my Iphone 7, but the cost of newer generation phones was prohibitive; I looked around on ebay but was hesitant to spend several hundred dollars without being CERTAIN that the phone would work. Then I found Amazon "renewed"; pricing was great, as was the warranty. I took a shot and have been delighted with this phone! The sound is better and the camera is amazing; there are many advanced features (face/finger recognition) that I have not explored yet. I live in a metal building; the Iphone 7 would drop off if I was not near a window/doorway that was uncovered; with the X, I can go throughout the building (3000 SF) and not drop a call, all with perfect sound (no static). The phone arrived in mint condition - I am so pleased, and will be returning to Amazon Renewed as my first stop, when I am searching for other products.

Was incredibly surprised and pleased when I checked the battery and it was at 100%. Phone has a few tiny imperfections on the body, but nothing I care about since my phone case covers all of that anyway. The only reason I gave this phone 4 stars was because the audio was off coming through the external speakers. It sounded bad and tinny. I was really concerned I would have to send it back but watched a video on how to clean all the speakers. There are speakers on both the top and bottom of the phone which i scrubbed with a dry, unused toothbrush very gently and a lot of dirt came out! This fixed the audio problem 100% and the phone was perfect again. Moral of the story, try cleaning the speakers if you think your speakers are broken.
