Not too bad, actually water RESISTANT rather than proof. Also the "SwissGear" logo was slightly diaginal and Chinese knock off. The solar panel trickle charges really slow, and doesnt support Samsung fast charging, no matter what I do to jerry rig it. Also there was no battery pack included and and it cant charge and be used at the same time (with the one I used) on top of standing in the blazing sun to charge a phone so slow it actually drops percentage, I realized it isnt worth the sunburn. However the laptop pocket fits my notebook perfectly, there's a lot of room to stuff a bunch of items, and the little pockets come in handy as well. I also rigged this with a 3liter water bladder with an inline water filter but I had to stab a hole through one of the straps to put the straw through, however, the sunglass loop on the strap is super convenient and I like how it has two sunglass holders overlapped. All in all pretty great backpack for any adventure, I just wish the solar panel put out more power tho, that's the only drawback, and the fact that it came with no battery pack. Sooo 3 stars. 3.5 maybe :P
UPDATE: Customer service really came through, I love these guys for being so human and understanding! The backpack is actually really nice, not to mention that it clearly states in the description that it doesn't come with a battery pack. my favorite thing about it tho is the convenient pocket in the right strap to put cash and cards in for quick and easy access, however, if I could suggest another Idea, I'd say make a side pocket on the strap with a zipper to ensure that all the stuff (cash, cards, ID, keys etc.) stays secure and cannot fall out. All in all, its a pretty great bag, and I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase now that customer service has been so reasonable and understanding, so thank you Fanspack for being a great company, you have my support and recomendations to my friends and family! Keep doing what you're doing! 😠5 Stars!
