I bought it for paneer making. Product is very sturdy and last for lifetime. Squeeze paneer well. But it can be better if perforation (holes) on the wall of inner container can go down to the bottom of wall for better squeeze. Also bottom of inner pot again is raised that makes it bottom hole not very useful under pressure for liquid to come out from the bottom or paneer or crushed fruits. Overall it is 3.5 to 4 star for built and use but it can be better.

I got this press to squeeze out hot nut milk, knowing that I'd need something a bit more robust than a standard fruit press, and I'm not the least bit disappointed in my decision. No flimsy folded metal here; this thing is built like a tank! After looking over countless other models and reading the reviews, I was a little leery about buying any of them. Then I stumbled onto this one.

With its solid cast-aluminum frame, I wasn't worried about buckling or paint flaking off, and when I pulled the massy thing out of the box, I could tell I was right. It performs like a champ, easily handling high pressure and making the task I bought it for effortless. In fact, it out-performed the gadget I bought specifically for the purpose of squeezing out hot nut milk bags. I'm seriously impressed.

I really should have taken a picture of my 5 and 7 year old grandkids using this. They had so much fun. We made apple juice from the imperfect apples from our small orchard. The 5 yr old cranked the press as far as she could go and then the 7 yr old took over. The yield was higher than we expected and was soooo good. We are looking forward to more juicing next year. The size is right for us. We can make quarts of juice at a time and we don't need bushels of apples to make it worth getting the press out.

Ok.. I don't write many amazon reviews.. but this thing is a game changer the same way my cabella's meat grinder sauce attachment was for canning. So I make my "jelly" a bit different than others. I boil my grapes and then I put it in a bag...and I don't wait for it to drip. I squeeze the thing until my hands hurt. This is because the flavor is in the skins of the grapes. I don't do 4H shows and I am not entering my stuff into county fairs. I care about HOW it tastes...and steam juicers don't do the same "juice"...the flavor for that is just not there. So I went back to this way of doing jelly and this thing just saved my hands. I am 51, and my hands hurt after extracting all the juice out of the bag for the jelly, I am not young anymore.. Put the synthetic bag in place of my regular cotton one, and every last drop of juice came out. Easy to clean NOT ONLY THE MACHINE but the BAG TOO! I tend to only use the cotton bags 1-2x, as they are always purple and I just can't call them clean no matter what I do to clean them post canning.. but the bag I got with this thing WAS SUPER EASY TO CLEAN. I am THRILLED with this thing. I will be able to make more jelly than I usually do because of it. This thing was designed exceedingly well. I couldn't believe how easy it was to screw down the press by myself (and I didn't have to ask my Husband to twist it) . The ONE THING i will say on the negative (and its really not much of a shortfall) is how long the spout on the outer can is...size DOES MATTER with this...and It did end up dripping down my cabinets before I got it going out the spout. That spout should be longer but honestly...I can clean up the mess with soap and water.. no problem. My hands are VERY happy and I would like to say "Thank you" to who ever designed this... you did a GREAT JOB!

I love that I was able to have it attached to a wooden table as I am disabled and can only use one hand. I make a ginger lemonade and I squeeze 60% more juice out of the pulp. So happy that I'm getting the maximum out of the fruits and vegetables I purchase. This has a great ease of use and it pretty large so it saves me time and money and I'm able to do it by myself. Wonderful investment.
