It's a great idea, but basically worthless. It works just fine on pavement or other smooth, even surfaces. Unfortunately most of my leaves, grass, etc are on my lawn which is NOT a perfectly even surface. The minor highs and lows that I can't see and don't notice when I walk on the lawn become unconquerable terrain to the Sweep It. The green plastic knob on the front can be used to raise and lower the sweeper to accommodate various surfaces and I used that. Again and again and again. But even my ridiculously-frequent adjustments didn't help very much (and I doubt the plastic on plastic adjustment feature is very robust). I would suggest not wasting your money on this product.

It works, but it's not worth the price. It picks up leaves and twigs, but it doesn't clear up the lawn completely. It holds half a wheelbarrow worth of leaves. It's more effective to use a rake for thick leaf areas. I could see this working during the early fall when leaves are first starting to come down. You'd have to go put everyday for 15 minutes for it to be fully effective. I'm not head over heels in love, but I'll use it because it helps to ease strain on my back.
