I love this thing. I am 6ft 2 inches tall and weigh 270. I am not sure what the low ratings are about. I had this together in less than 15 minutes and it arrived in perfect condition. The box had a hole in it from SHIPPING (UPS) not the manufacturer. Most box holes are from the shipper not the manufacturer. As for stripped screws I am guessing they never put much together before or are the type that like to blame others for their mistakes. You do NOT tighten the heck out of things. You snug the bolt then give it a 1/4 or 1/3 turn. As with ANY bolts you will have to check them again in a week or two and re-tighten them one last time and never again. This is an awesome value for the money. I will repost an update in a few weeks but so far it is great. No I am not a tester or paid for this evaluation. I am just a 52 year old gamer that wants a good chair instead of an office chair to use.

Not quite as nice as I had hoped for what I paid, but its better than the crappy chair I had with no padding. You cant lean back in this, youll flip over on your head, and there was a 1/2 inch or so rip in the back when I got it out of the box, but I didn't notice it until it was together...too late. I don't know if ergonomic is a good word, but its ok to sit in for an hour or 2 before I have to get up and stand or walk.

The quality of this product was atrocious. The foot rest didn't have any mechanism to prevent it from sliding all the way off. I wasn't comfortable putting any weight on the foot rest as it felt like it would snap off instantly. The chair arms felt like they were going to snap off too. Even though the screws were fully tight, the place where the threading at the seat and back of the chair held the arms in place felt like it was "sewn" into the chair as the only means of keeping everything together.
Surely based on the positive reviews for this product, I assumed it would be a no brainer. I must have just gotten the dud?

This is probably the greatest chair I've ever sat in. It's extremely comfortable, very soft, super convenient, VERY adjustable, and made of very good material. Instructions for setting it up is a little bit of a guessing game but I got all the parts in the right places with the right screws, nuts, and bolts. It is a huge upgrade from my previous chair and it will be great for my gaming sessions, creating artwork on my drawing desk for those very long projects, and just pretty much relaxing. It's also great for supporting the lower back and your entire neck, plus it has a leg rest that you can pull out! The price is right, super fast shipping if you have Prime, and not a very difficult set up! What are you waiting for? Go order this chair!

Ok, here's my opinion after sitting on the chair for about a month. First, this chair is best suited for someone who is about 5'9" or less. I am 6' and not only is the footrest waaayy too short but I had to put the neck pillow up around the top of the shoulder part to get it to actually reach my neck. Otherwise it was hitting my shoulder blades. Having said that, the seat is plenty wide and even though it doesn't have much cushion to it, I can sit for 4-5 hours without getting a sore butt and I don't have any cushion to begin with. The chair is solid and I have already designed some extensions for the footrest. The arm rests and recliner work well. Overall, I think it's worth the price. Just not great for a taller person.
