It could be a bit more powerful but it gets the job done just fine. You have to go slow when sawing brass. I did 250 pieces it did get warm but no issues so far.
I liked this saw because it was small and portable

I liked this saw because it was small and portable. It cuts zinc and other hard metals but doesn't do well with lead came. Lead came is very soft and wanted to bind up the blade. It did stop working as I was cutting zinc but after a while it was usable again. Maybe just over heated.

Poorly assembled screws in drive pulley not tightened so no power to the blade . Saw blade that came with it not sharp at all. Save your money
