Watch the box and packaging

This is a great item however I did order the deluxe package. I was worried when I got the box and it said "mini" and there was nothing on the package stating what else was included. Once we opened the box, all items were included. The 4 clips, 30 bags and cookbook were with it. The box did not state that and I'm still not sure why the box says "mini" when it's full size and with all items.
Packaging needs updated with correct info.
I can't tell you how to rate the actual items yet but will definitely do a review once we use it.

I was so excited to get this product.
I have heard good things about this type of cooking and wanted to try it.
Unfortunately, there's no instruction on how to use it. There's recipes, but I have no idea how to use it.

After just a few hours of cooking, the cooker started to make a horrible noise. I emailed the address in the user manual explaining the problem. Sous Vide Art got back to me the next day and offered to replace the unit, which they did promptly. I didn't even need to return the failed one.
So far, the new unit works fine. My only complaint is that you can't adjust the height of the attachment point, so I needed a taller pot than what I had used for sous vide before.

Pros: suction works well; love the different sized bags
Cons: a HUGE pain to get clean; some of the zippers failed after the first use
Cleaning was a pain. We first filled them with hot water and dish soap, let them sit for a bit, then rinsed out. Still tons of noticeable grease/food particles left, so we flipped them inside out and cleaned them. But they were still noticeably kinda stained/greasy.
Our first attempt at sous vide, I used five of the bags - 1 for a beef roast, and 4 for ribeyes. One of the steak bags partially unsealed in the fridge, but that may have been because the steak was RIGHT at the limit of the bag's capacity, so I'm not knocking the bags for that one failure.
However, about a week later, I tried to use three steak bags again (for more steaks). 2/3 bags wouldn't zipper shut completely, so when I tried to suction them, they just....slowly refilled. I'm positive the steaks weren't too big for the bags as this time I made sure there was plenty of space between the top of the steak and the "max fill" line on the bag. After checking the zippers, I realized they weren't closing all the way, no matter how hard I tried to push them together. I'm not sure if the hot water from washing them warped the plastic or something, but ultimately I ended up with a handful of single-use bags.
