The grommet that slides over the cable is TIGHT. It will stretch to accommodate a larger diameter cable. Once that's done, it gives the whole assembly a solidity that I enjoy.
Doesn't come with any instructions, but wiring diagrams are easily found with a search. Ground is the prong with the lock (South), and the neutral is directly across from it (North). Then you have your hots (East and West) and that's that.
