I don't usually write reviews, but this product is extremely good for a number of reasons. It goes on clear and stays clear which allows for accurate shaving especially if you want close lines on beards or other facial hair. I have sensitive skin and this product has never given me a breakout. In fact, this shave gel has actually prevented them by its ability to protect skin while shaving close. I actually have not irritated bumps after shaving. This shave gel also leaves your skin feeling very smooth and soft after the shave. I really can't say enough about it. I wrote a review in the hopes that other people will buy it so it will stay on the market. It seems that all the best products vanish. I have shaved for 40 years and nothing I have used before comes close.
Smells like medicine.

My first thought when I opened this product was "this smells terrible." I went on to use it, and during shaving I thought "this works well, but it really smells bad." Then, as the smell lingered for the next couple of hours, I thought "I can't go around smelling like I'm wearing medicine from the 50's all day, I need to return this crap." Then I found out that for some reason this product is exempt from the normally-stellar return policy of Amazon. Very disappointed.

Definitely one of my favorite shaving gels out there! It has a great scent that isn't too overpowering and lathers up just perfectly for a good close shave. I have sensitive skin and this is just perfect for me, as it never irritates my skin and this isn't even their sensitive skin shaving gel either! I would definitely recommend trying this if you're in the market for a new shaving gel.

I love Dr Carver's shave butter from dollar shave club, but couldn't stand their razors. This gel is a close replacement and way better than ANY foam or foaming gel product
