The Ladder I have had for a little over a month. The main detractor is the weight, however; for this type of ladder and its compact size the weight is unavoidable, if it weighed the same as a normal aluminum step ladder it would be too unstable. The ladder is easy to operate however the operator must pay attention to all warnings and instructions to be safe. I have not injured my-self but the operator must be aware of what he/she is doing. A nice to have feature would be the ability to set to different heights while in the A-frame mode of operation. I have tried several time to do so and it is not stable unless it is fully extended. The two small wheels are a nice feature to use for moving the ladder, however; some stronger and heavier duty Velcro would be better for keeping the ladder together in the compacted mode while rolling it along. Overall it is a good ladder and it does everything I need.

My neighbor has a Finether extension ladder (as opposed to the A-Frame) and it's GREAT. However, I got the A-Frame for the versatility. Yes, it is versatile but it's very difficult to retract the A-Frame as each side seems to fight with each other as you're collapsing the frame. You collapse one side and the other extends and pushes the other side towards you - and then you try to collapse the other side and it doesn't retract on its own due to the angle it's in. It's akin to wrangling two squabbling cats. Perhaps I need to spend a lot more time learning how to retract this dang thing - but in the meantime I have to stick with my Werner A-Frame.
