This craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful. You would expect the copper to be thin and the construction to be shoddy. It is quite the opposite. The mug is heavy. The copper is thick. The welds are excellent.
The mug is beautiful, even if all you do is use it for decor. For drinks, it is useful as a medium-size punch bowl. It would make a great gift.
Is it easy to hold? Yes; the handle is solid. However, when it is filled, the mug is about 9 pounds. That is hefty, but it is not a problem with the mug. Go to the gym.
