I purchased this for work and planned to keep salad and boiled eggs in it for a ketogenics diet. I have had no opportunity to see if it keeps things warm. The first question I was asked when I came to work with it was, "Is that a pipe bomb?" I suppose, it can look kinda intimidating. Lol for the eggs, which I put in the top, it did keep them cold. My real issue with it is ....it's just too big for me. I am almost sure I could fit a diced cantaloupe into it, however, I could never eat an entire cantaloupe in one setting. I did give it 5 stars because, well... It's not it's fault it's been made big.

Waste of space because food is cold anyways and it got rusty spots. Returning it now. I won't give this rusty thing to my daughter. You can see It in he pictures

The internal white plastic cover is a key component in keeping the temperature since the external plastic cover has gaps.
With the internal white plastic cover, it keeps maximum 2/3 warmth.
Bowls are adequate in size.
Excellent for keeping solid food. Liquid tends to leak out a bit.
It's 4 stars because the "internal white plastic cover" can be lost, and then it keeps only 1/3 warmth.
Other lunchbox using rubber seal appears to be more effective.
