I just bought a new sleeper sofa with a gel-foam mattress in it, and I wanted protection for the mattress for when I drink tea, coffee, or a glass of wine while reading and lying in bed. I read countless reviews, and this product kept coming out on top. So, I bought it, and after using it, I am NOT DISAPPOINTED!! I believe that this is the best mattress protector that I could have purchased. Though my mattress is a bit thinner than what this cover would accommodate, it is certainly better than getting one that won't fit! The extra cover is easily is hidden under the mattress. The best feature of the mattress protector is its zippered enclosure. The cover is easy for one person to put on the mattress and zip closed. The fabric is soft to the touch, and apparentlyIt is also breathable. I've slept on it several times, and I can notice NO difference in the level of heat of the mattress. Therefore, I believe it to be an excellent choice for those of us who tend to be hot-natured. Though I have not yet spoiled anything on the mattress cover, other reviewers claimed it to be effective in preventing leaks through to the mattress. Therefore, I'm trusting their reviews for now but will update mine if/when I have experience of my own on which to comment.

We bought a new sleeper sofa and wanted to protect the innerspring mattress. I debated over spending more for this protector than the mattress pads for our regular bed, but I'm glad I did. This protector was easy to put on, which I did by myself, and fits the mattress perfectly. The material is soft and high quality and does not make any noise. I can't rate it on being waterproof because we haven't experienced that yet. I also bought standard pillow protectors from the same manufacturer and plan to buy queen sized ones, as well.

Very happy with product so far. I've tried others and the fit is usually a little too big for a sofabed mattress but surprisingly this fit perfectly. Not too much excess material and fit snugly but not too tight that I couldn't zipper. I also like that this does not just cover the top of the mattress but all the way around on all 6 sides. I poured a litle water to see if it would leak through and it did not happily. It doesn't make a crackle sound when moving around and is soft enough and comfortable. An overall good buy for the price!
