We've been using flashlights to walk the dog, but it is nice to have our hands free (we live in the country and have coyotes that we have to remain alert to). The headlamps are bright enough to illuminate the edges of the woods.

So I've been doing sheetrock in a place I'm working on almost non-stop for couple months and have been using this headlamp exclusively. I'm impressed really. If you take it outside at night the brightness is daylight quality. Vampire problem solved! Indoors on the first "monocle" setting (Recommend zoom it almost all way out for full circle effect) is amazing and perfect for rocking. That saves your battery. Battery life is comparable to smaller AAA headsets, but they are usually only good for reading. I have a black diamond for that, but you need something brighter for really working all night. I now have 2 of these, one does I put it on charger and grab other one. Or I have 4 of the lithium rechargable and 2 AAA backups as well. I recharge on a battery pack/jumper and no electricity is needed for weeks at a time. Very pleased, I even had an amazing experience with the seller's customer support as well when a small piece broke on battery box, and they promptly sent another! I am very lucky, and did my research of all the headsets on Amazon. Believe I found the best deal available, and now you have too!

Was a bit skeptical but this light is actually quite useful. Granted it's the only one I've tried but for the money it's not bad. It offers plenty of light. Be sure to set the zoom setting or you'll just see the LED sensor image on the first setting. The "zoom" function is a bit useless since it really doesn't focus much of anything. They could have just fixed it to the middle setting. Once the straps are properly adjust for your head it actually feels pretty good and probably won't slip off. My only complaint is that if you wear this for a while (15 min or more) then the front head contact point gets a little annoying. It could probably use more padding there. I also had a weird issue getting the battery to actually fits its own compartment. Oh and my other 18650 batteries will not fit. Only the included battery fits. The built-in recharging circuit is a nice touch but it apparently doesn't have an automatic off setting -- so be careful not to overcharge the battery.

The headlamp fits nicely, the headband is easy to adjust, the adjustment of light intensity is easy (although I don't need the strobe light), and the 90 tilt in the headlamp position works well. I've only used about 15 minutes total, so I don't yet know how long the battery will last per charge. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality, price, and functionality.

What a piece of crap. At first, I really liked the unit. It was comfortable, bright, and doing exactly what I needed it for. The 5th day of use, the power switch quit working, in the ON position. I tried removing the batteries, and reinstalling to reboot the electronics, but that did not work. You can hear the switch latching as you press it, but the mode will not change. All I can say is that by the time this POC stopped working, I had almost all of the new lighting installed in our crawlspace. Save your money, find a different unit to purchase people.

I must say, I am impressed. The seller has reached out to me regarding the issue I experienced, and without hesitation they took corrective measures. As I originally stated, I really did like the unit at first, and now that the customer service is top notch, I do not regret the purchase.
