I used this to mount to the high back seat on my kayak. I have used mine for months now and it is holding up fine. I'm not hammering it with ice and drinks every day though. But still impressive that it's been on this kayak since day one and no issues.

Update June 2021. This is still on the seat of my kayak. I have used this extensively and has seen any kind of weather you can get. I am back here because I'm looking at getting another. It's not broken I've just abused it to the point I want another if it does die.

Still on this kayak. Zippers still function and it still works fine. Faded from being in the sun but holding up just fine. I just ordered one for a back up.

Don't put ice in it. These are not really made to our ice in. Non of them are. I use frozen water bottles or ice packs.

Update april 2022- The original cooler is still on the kayak. Top black fabric has worn off from the sun but the rest of it still functions. Zippers still work. Stap where I mount to the kayak is finally showing that it may be time to replace. Gets a lot of abuse so I expected it to fail before now. Do not put ice in any softsided cooler without a plastic insert. I put a another backpack on my other kayak and am here to replace it with another one of these. Small enough to stay out of the way when reaching behind me but just big enough for water and lunch. I also use it for extra storage if needed instead of as a cooler.
These are not meant to hold ice once it melts.

So the fabric came off the top and it finally wore enough to need replacing. I'm impressed that this thing was out in the elements this long and still lasted more than one season.

My car doesn't have much in storage areas & this bag was a great addition. Our purpose for buying it was not to use it as a cooler but to hold our bigger Yetis & keep them from rolling around on the backseat floor. It keeps them from banging into each other & makes for easy access when we're thirsty.

Fits well in back seat, not bulky and fits the purpose.

Other than this the bag is very reliable. But kinda don't feel confident in it's long term durability in terms of the zipper and strap
