These LED Lights were easy to install, no special tools but a flat screwdriver to disassemble the light features. They are very bright. I am happy with these lights. This set does not include the cabin light, which in my 2018 RAV4 is the long tube like light. That you have to buy separately. I was able to replace the map lights, the rear and forward interior lights, and the license plate lights with three to spare.

These led bulbs are really bright, I mean like so bright that my other 194 led lights become dimmed. I have used these lights for only a few days. The design on the leds and the base is basically an electronic board so it seems like the base is thicker than halogen lightbulbs. However the thickness of the base ensures that the bulb is snug and stable once installed. If you look at one of my uploaded picture, you can see that the led bulb is slightly longer than the halogen bulb but it fits really well into the car light socket/housing. The item description does not say anything about the Led type, I think it is 3030smd type, which is very bright and clear given that each bulb has 8 leds on it. I installled these bulbs in my 2012 Toyota Sienna and used about 6 bulbs for the interior dome lights and 2 for the license plate and keep the other 2 as back up spares. For the price, brightness and quality, I would buy again.

The design of this bulb is nearly flawless because there are no exposed wires that could potentially twist or get pulled off. The size is PERFECT for if you want to use this for automotive use, (putting it into a pre cut hole or light fixture), or even other small devices that require this type. I used mine in my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and replaced all my interior lights from the map light, courtesy door panel lights, dome light and license plate lights. For the price, I have exceeded the value of these little bulbs greatly! The light is super bright, but in a cool white sense. These were a great investment, and so far, have not disappointed. I haven't had them that long, (about a week), so I can't speak on the longevity of them, but so far, they are perfect for what I needed!
