The Paramed Professional Manual Blood Pressure Cuff I ordered worked but was received in less than new quality. The box appeared to have already been opened and the bags holding the items appeared to have been opened and it appears that this unit had been used and possibly returned. The rubbber tubing near the connection to the gauge was crimped over in the box and when closely inspecting the rubber tubing, has left an indentation that has weakened the outside of the tubing making it vulnerable to breakage / leaks. This can easily be fixed by just snipping off this small imperfection, however,for a new unit this is not acceptable. I let the company know of the above deficiencies and they quickly sent another unit that was received and in perfect order. I notified them of the problem just as an FYI for quality control, and told them a new unit was not needed for such a minor deficiency,however they sent one. One could not ask for better customer service.

just bought an aneroid sphygmomanometer. I'm a retired cardiologist so I'm familiar with BP cuffs.
this one feels well made and sits securely on my arm. the gauge is easy to read and the valve is stable.
only suggestion is to consider someone who would want to take his own BP and figure a way to sit the gauge on a table
so it could be easily read. otherwise, nice product at a great price.

I gave this review 5 stars because it arrived on time, its brand new, it does what it supposed to do; which consist of accurate results.My professor approved of it and everything turned out great for clinicals. The best thing I like about this blood pressure cuff is that it is easy to put on the arm due to the D ring that's attached to it. I do not like the ones without the D ring because I can't seem to tighten the cuff around the arm. It tends to be too loose. The blood pressure cuff kit comes in a protection bag, a detachedable pressure gauge; which is great because I can attach it to a stable surface or to the cuff. The kit comes with instructions that are helpful because it explains in detail on how to take a blood pressure and it shows pictures of how it's done properly. This is a great quality blood prussure cuff and it was affordable. I'm so happy that i can practice on taking blood pressures. I will Not be sending this blood pressure kit back or selling it. THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW!!!!!!

This blood pressure cuff seems to be of pretty good quality. I've used it quite a few times since I've had it the past few weeks. It comes with a nice little carrying case and the whole thing is pretty light weight. I would recommend it to anyone, especially for the price. I think I bought it on sale for around $15.If I had to make one critique, it would be that it doesn't have a mark on the cuff to show where to line it up with the brachial artery, but if you've taken blood pressures before you can figure it out. Otherwise, I give it 5 stars.
