I've had the authentic wine Rabbit opener for years and years and absolutely loved it. It finally gave up the ghost so I saw this one and thought it looked pretty spiffy with its all-metal design. Don't let that fool you. This thing is garbage if you're used to the real thing. The screw doesn't come down directly on top of the cork. The jaws are too small, so they don't hold the neck of the bottle well. The lever action is clunky and sticky. Getting the cork out is a bear since the jaws don't close properly. Just don't bother with this thing if you don't want to be frustrated. Must be a lot of paid reviews on this thing or people who haven't had better. Spend a few more dollars for the actual Rabbit brand name opener and got the real thing. So far so good, only had it about a month. I had a similar opener for about 10 years and used it a lot. Loved it, but it finally broke. I got a few other ones that were similar but they did not work... would not pull the cork out. This one is working great, no problems at all.
