Small compared to Melissa and Doug. Magnets were not very strong and didn't hold together well. Not impressed. Returned and went with Melissa and Doug cutting fruit & Hape cutting vegetables instead.

Really nice and educational toy. My daughter loved it and it's the perfect addition to her "toy kitchen". Parts are made almost entirely of wood, which makes them really durable. Each "vegetable" is held by a magnet in the middle/core, so it's easy for the child to "cut" through it with the included wooden knife.
It's been a while since I've see a well put together, wooden toy. Highly recommended.

I bought this fruit playset as a gift for my grandson, he is at the age of eating alone and as a fun way to talk about the benefits of eating fruit with him. This is a great set because its has many pieces andn you can "cut" the fruit and veggies in half and pretend like you are actually cooking. The system is very ingenious.
The BEST part is that you can put them right back into the storage container that it came in and its a quick cleanup.
