A great little clock!

This is a great little clock! I bought it recently to replace a Sony clock/radio that went on the fritz after ten years or so, and I was looking for something a little more compact, that had a large time display, that looked reasonably nice, and that plugged into an outlet rather than a USB charger. This looked good online for a lot of reasons, including price and some features I didn't care about too much but actually appreciate. Its instructions are pretty easy to figure out, too. What surprised me in a good way, considering the size of the unit, is that its sound output is really pretty good--definitely better than what it replaces! I'll use the radio only for its alarm function, but it's nice to know that it sounds good--and I can connect a speaker to it if I want to. It's nice to discover a new brand!

I am disappointed in the quality workmanship in this product. It is cheap plastic that I doubt will hold up very long. I like the small footprint it takes on my nightstand but the that positive is not enough to make me recommend a purchase. I am most disappointed with the dinner feature. High and medium are far too bright in the dark and low is far too low. On low the face disappears into a blank dark spot. Overall a total miss.

If you are looking for a compact and versatile radio alarm next to your bed, this clock might meet your needs like it did for me. It has the option of either waking you up with a FM radio station (of your choice) or s buzzard. Volume for both can be varied and the alarm starts off with a low volume and increases to your desired settings. I personally like that feature since I don't like being startled each morning. Another neat addition is a USB port in the back of the unit for charging your smartphone while you sleep. Great idea! The time is displayed in large numbers and for those of us who wear glasses it is easily read without them. The brightness levels are high, medium & off. This is my only criticism. I wished there was a "low" light setting since I prefer near darkness during the night. And oh, I almost forgot to mention that it has a room temperature display. Love that feature! Bottom line is that I'm very happy that I purchased this clock!

Got it yesterday and find it easy and intuitive to use. Simple without extras. I did find the lower display setting too bright for night use. But there is a "cure"! Amazon sells a product called "Dim It" light dimming sheets, $7.99. Simply trim them with scissors and the sheet will cling to the display without tape, etc. (I had them on hand since I've had this problem with other appliances.) Be sure to install the back-up batteries (3 AAA) or the slightest "burp" on the power line will cause the clock to drop all the settings.

Looks great, easy to set. All the features I want at a glance! Displays; 24 or 12 hour time, with the current temperature in °F or °C. With a battery backup.
I really can't say enough about this clock. Beautiful blue light, with 3 brightness settings, that won't distract your eyes when you're trying to sleep... Yet easy to read.
Ever wake up, and don't know if it's 6am or 6pm? And if you put your clock across the room like I do, you can't see that little am/pm dot... Plus, 24 hour time just makes more sense to me. Why can't more off the shelf clocks do this?! Anyways, great product. Probably going to order a few more.
