Not really a fan of this chair. I have bought a few other La-Z-Boys over the years - all through their retail stores - and had become a huge advocate. I bought this chair for a summer rental property I own - price seemed right. It feels very cheap compared to the others I own. The arms rests are not sufficiently padded, so you can feel the wood construction through the upholstery. And when I press on the armrests to stand, I hear popping sounds. Hope it lasts - it is replacing a 20+ year old La-Z-Boy that came with the house when I bought it. I'm skeptical that I'll have a similar experience with this chair.

The recliner sent to us was NOT an official LA Z BOY recliner. The only position we could have used was upright and rock. The handle on the left side did not work. A handyman checked for us and found two broken wood bars and other problems which contributed to trouble.
I called Amazon Customer Service and talked to Michelle. She was very kind and understanding and ordered a pickup return day and also a refund on our Visa.

This is a very comfortable chair. It is a bit on the narrow side - something to consider for those of us who have spread a bit! But it is soft and furnishes great back support. The lever to recline works just fine and it is a great sleep chair!

The recliner shipped expertly packaged and wrapped, in perfect condition. Assembly was simple, just sliding the back into the seat.

My one caution is that you make sure to assemble the chair in its intended location. Although it is pretty light, there are no easy places to hold it for carrying, so moving it between rooms can be difficult!

Otherwise it is a great chair -comfortable, durable, functional and compact - it won't fill up your living room.

Very nice very comfortable and made with typical LaZBoy quality. Had and older version when I was in college and loved that chair and this is better. The upholstery is very good and appears to be easily cleaned.

When I think of recliners I always imagine my father in his boxers laying back falling asleep while watching tv when I was a kid. I think everyone who grew up with these has these images. There's just something about a recliner and dads.

Well fast forward and here we are. I'm a dad and finally have a recliner. I fell asleep in this thing. Yes, it is that comfortable. There is so much padding on this and the snug feel and recline position is very comfortable. It's smaller than the recliners I am used to seeing, like this is a slim model or something. It still fits me comfortably at 225 lbs. I can rock my baby back and forth on this or recline while watching tv. It's versatile. The fabric is plush and soft.

Now...if you like the color and look, that's exactly what it looks like. It's not pretty that's for sure. It looks like something from the 70s. I really don't know how they can achieve a comfortable and fashionable look, but if you are in the market for a recliner then you know what to expect.

It's not heavy but comes in a big box. It is easy to assemble and you only need a flat head screw driver to push the clip into place. You do not need any screws or other tools. It comes in two pieces in a big box. Took less time to build then take out of the box.

The chair does have a loud clicking sound when reclining. I am not sure if mine is tight or that is by design. It sounds like it is clicking and locking. I haven't fallen over or anything so I assume it is normal.

All in all I am happy with this chair. It's comfortable, was easy to assemble and light enough to move around. Now when my kids get older they will have memories of their father like I have mine. The cycle continues.
