I bought this game for my granddaughter's upcoming 2nd birthday. We haven't played it yet, but it looks like it will n\be a fun, interactive game that will hold her attention for a short game.
Great game for young children!

I gave this to my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I wasn't sure about a 2-year-old playing a board game but Monkey Around is really fun! Lots of suggestions on how parents can play the game to engage their youngster. Teaches lots of skills. My only complaint is that I wish the colors were more primary and identifiable so you could tell your child to pick up a specific color card. It would also be helpful if the Solo and Together cards were differentiated more as a prompt for the child as to the type of activity it is.
2.5 Year Old Loves It!

I got this game for my 2.5 year old monkey loving daughter.
The cards are very simple and she can understand/so pretty much all the cards. However, she really enjoys this game.
I definitely think it promotes good listening skills as well as practicing other moving skills (like balance, coordination, etc).
It is simple enough for her to be able to pick a card and place it on the game board as well.
We got this game for christmas and have been playing it everyday since but I can easily see her outgrowing this by the time she's three or four and can be a little more advanced. It would be really cool if they added an extension pack of the cards with some more difficult tasks!!
Overall it's so great. If your kid likes monkeys id definitely recommend it or you just want a first game for your toddler.
Lastly, the quality is pretty nice! I've had no issue with the banana so far, it seems sturdy and almost weighted. The cards are durable enough to be played with by a two year old
