I don't need a saw all that often but this was nice - battery operated tools have come so far over the past decade. This did exactly what I needed it to do without dragging out a power cord. Price was fair and this seems like a quality product. Love how the blade locks and loads.

Right out of the box, we used the saw to cut wood for a board and batten wall. We cut all the wood using both straight cuts and angled cuts. The battery is still charged. So far, we love the saw!
Black and decker tools make good throw away homeowner tools.

It works good, maneuverable etc. It is a good cordless jigsaw for light work. Black and decker's market is the cheaper grade homeowner occasional use tools. They are very good for that application. I have found them to be exactly what I need and to be good easy to use tools. I have multiple batteries and multiple tools and they interchange. So I can work all day when that is needed as well.
