Simple 2 clip flat surface mounting.

These are very narrow, hence the T5 size in listing. They interlock nicely and the snap clip mount for surface mounting is simple and works. I did not want ones with plastic ends a chain hooked to that would crumble in a few years. These aluminum base units can be linked up to 6 units. This set came with two US wall plugs and both short pig tails and plastic connectors so you can set up 2 separate runs. I think the single run is far better than the old 2 bulb flouescent lights, these put off nice even light.
I liked these so much I bought more sets to change out all my lights in the garage, shop and barn.

I really like these fixtures, and I am amazed at the amount of light output. They consume more power than I initially thought they would, but I am happy because of the brightness delivered.

Pros - The lights are small, lightweight, and put out a good amount of light. Not as bright to me as some of the review pictures make them look. I would buy more.
Cons - Purchasing longer extension cords is a must in my opinion. Unless you are planning on putting them right next to each other, the included connecting cords are worthless. I bought some 4 foot connecting cords and while trying to spread them across a large area, found myself wishing I had purchased 6 foot cords.
The included screws are made from beer can metal. If you plan on installing the lights in anything harder than a marshmallow or maybe styrofoam, plan on buying some screws. The heads twisted off of some of them in my case, and the ones the heads didn't twist off, the phillips screw hole stripped out. That was when installing them in hard wood.
