Color collectors, be aware that they, for some reason, reversed the color combination from the EU/JPN versions. Those ones are left green, right pink, whereas the NA version is left pink, right green.

I picked these up on sale and used rewards points to bring the price down further. The relatively high price of the joy cons is tempered by the fact that you're essentially buying two more controllers. The day I received the set, I had friends over to play Mario Kart 8. The joy con that were packaged with the Switch along with this additional set made 4 player possible. Very fun. The colors also offer a bonus as you can more readily see which controller maps to which onscreen player (player 3 is red, player 4 is blue, etc). Nintendo has knocked it out of the park with the Switch.

Works great!! They were delivered on time as well. They do not exhibit any disconnections and all the buttons work perfectly. The Joy Con have that new stiffness to them though, going in or out of the Switch or Joy Con grip but to me that's good. Not a fan of the Neon Red but I wanted a full Neon Blue set. I highly recommend getting a extra pair, no matter the color!

The Nintendo Switch is a phenomenally fun console, and the joycons go a long way to making that happen. They're a nice size in your hand when you're using both, especially if you're playing with your handheld Switch, and not too small if you're only using one - though just barely for my large hands. They aren't as good as the Pro controller if you're looking for shooter-level precision control, but for any other games the convenience of being able to hold both of your hands independently is a blessing I never knew I needed. It's tough to convince myself to use the Pro controller even when I feel I need to!

I'm very relieved and satisfied with this product. After looking at all of the one star reviews, I felt discouraged for buying this. When it came - well, I tested it out like my default blue and red joy-cons. Despite the negative things people said, it worked flawlessy. It connected just like I thought it would, no connection range difference. I could now mix and match my joy-cons, and these worked no better than the ones I got with the console. Definitely going to buy more of these if I have too (they are expensive). Satisfied with my purchase, colors look great, nothing more I could have asked for!
