Great for studding snowblower tires

Used to stud the tires on my snowblower and they work great!
Traction on ice is so tenacious that you can no longer turn the blower by sliding the tires. I have to unlock the axle to have any hope of doing a tight turn.
No signs of them pulling out yet, but I only have half a season on them so far.
One note is that the included install tool isn't the best and I had to use a thinner wall socket to get the stud all the way into the tire. A little oil helped too.

Great product for the price. I did both front tires with this kit and tried them out after a snow storm today. Very slippery roads with hard packed snow and ice. My little front wheel drive Hyundai held the road as good as the all-wheel drive vehicles.

A little hard to install as I believe the included bit is recessed too far. Hard to get the head to sink into shoe sole. I inserted a small piece of metal to stand off the studs a bit. They are definitely carbide. Been walking/running with my dogs on frozen sidewalks in MN and open concrete for about 2 weeks now. No noticeable wear on the carbide studs.
