I purchased 2 pairs of these binoculars for our 3 and 5 year old grandsons. As soon as they saw them, they didn't stop playing with them for the 3 days they were with us. They carried them around, slept with them (straps off), and were constantly looking out the window at anything and everything. Reasons I chose these were: 1) The size was perfect for small hands; 2) I could get them in their favorite colors; 3) they seemed like a good value; and 4) they looked pretty indestructible, and sounded like it from reviews. I think for the ages of these boys these were the perfect choice. They were clearly very happy with the product, and as much as being a functional toy, these also inspired imagination and play.

I was a little disappointed that they were so small. I was getting them fit a 6 year old but he can't use them long. If I had had them shipped to me I would not have given them to him.

Our grandson had his Pre-k graduation yesterday. I saw these and knew he would love them. He did! He loves to watch birds and bunnies in his yard. He sits at a window and watches the birds eat in the bird feeders they have. He was so excited to get them but now I had to order a pink pair today. His little sister who will be 2 next month got them and put them around her neck. She closes her eyes when she puts them up to her eyes!! So she will get hers with her birthday gifts.
I thought the box they come in looked cheap but the rest is wonderful. It has a case to keep them in, and a lanyard to wear around their neck. I tied a knot in the back because they hung down to the top of his thighs. I tied off about 10 inches. There is a wristband also but it is way too big for a 5 yr old. I am so happy with this purchase. I noticed our son trying them out himself. My husband did also. The objects you see are clear and the magnifier can be adjusted if the items look blurred. Like I said, I just ordered another pair and I have 2 more grandsons who will love some for Christmas.
