I bought this in April, and I immediately fell in love with it. I used it on an almost nightly basis to read using my kindle, and it was mounted to my headboard of my bed. Sadly, today while I reading, the neck broke. Honestly, I will probably buy another one because I can't imagine not having one now. Just beware, it has about a 5 month lifespan"¦ but it was FANTASTIC while it was working!

This was my second purchase of this item as I was very pleased with the quality and strength of this product initially. After some light use over the course of appx 1 year, the device holder portion of the product has broken off while trying to adjust the position of my phone. Perhaps this product maybe too strong when it comes to adjustability, so much so that when trying to adjust to the desired position the holder has snapped off.

I ordered this to complete my lazy girl Kindle setup and it was worth every penny. I'm a little sad that I didn't buy it sooner because now it travels into different rooms with me. I don't have to worry about the neck drooping with the weight of my Kindle and I can always get it to the perfect angle for how I'm sitting or laying. I haven't yet tried using this with a larger tablet like an iPad, but I don't really see it being an issue. The rubber on the white part will scrunch up but when I noticed that, I just changed the angle and it looks perfectly fine. I love the little elastic handles on the back to open up the wings rather than forcing them open. My boyfriend is even impressed with the quality and thought I spent way more on it than I did. He said when he went to move it do that I didn't wake up and hit my head on my Kindle, he had to use both hands to change the angle of the neck. For some, that might be a pain, but I like knowing that it will hold its position until I intentionally change it. I love it!

I have to do physical therapy for an hour each day, lying flat on my back. Holding up a tablet to watch a video for distraction gets tiresome after a bit, so I needed some way to hold the tablet above my head while I'm still lying flat. This works perfectly for what I need.

I was worried that the clamp wouldn't be secure enough to hold the tablet above me, but it works without problem. I was also concerned that perhaps the clamp would be so strong that getting the tablet in and out of the clamp would be difficult, but it's no problem at all. As noted in the description, the arm does wobble a bit as I tap the tablet to select and start a video, but it settles down very quickly.

This little thing has made my daily routine a great deal more bearable. I recommend it.

LOVED this tablet holder, until it broke after two weeks of use. The gray section is very sturdy, it takes a bit of elbow grease to position it where you want it. The white section was not as sturdy, and you can see in the photo that it broke in two places.
