Well what can I say. She is a real beauty.

First off item was scheduled to be delivered in ten days. Four days later, she is already here. While not two day prime, I was impressed how fast it got here. Ceva logistics was used as the shipper and got her to me in Florida from Ohio in great shape.

Westinghouse packed everything safe n secure. Everything withstood the shipping progress in awesome shape. The contents where easy to get to and the instructions where clear and to the point. Here's a hint, have a box cutter handy. Use it to cut each corner from top to bottom, then fold the sides down. I will help serve as a soft platform to mount the stand and wheels.

I attached a video of her first startup using propane and the remote. She cranked right up. Same with the button and hand pull option.

I didn't get to check output yet since I didn't want to put a load on her on her first warmup. I will try that tomorrow and on Thursday the transfer switch goes in. I'll report back with an update on those results. So far so good.

Restarted her today. No issues. She was putting out electricity. Tomorrow I get the transfer switch installed

3/1 transfer switch installed.. hooked the gen up and all preformed well.. i used an EmerGen EGS107501G2KIT Transfer switch. The generator powered fridge freezer and even the water heater.. so far im pleased

3/6 Westinghouse sent me a a free cover ( ic attached ) as part of their registration process.. Thanks

Can't give five stars until I put her through actual use, under blackout conditions. But a solid four so far
I'd buy this again in a heartbeat - great generator, great customer service

Amazing generator with great customer service. I purchased this generator in response to the "Bomb Cyclone" which was to be followed by several days of -6 degree temps. If the worst happened, I would have to drain the house pipes and hope that was enough to keep damage from the house. This generator would not have arrived within the two days that would have handled that emergency, but it did arrive 10 days later. Free delivery via freight (thank you Prime, that just paid for the year). We didn't lose power. I received the generator and made provisions for it to power emergency service in the house, and found a natural gas adapter kit (which I have not yet installed and which per Westinghouse voids the warrantee). I did break the generator trickle charge adapter - I called Westinghouse and despite this being entirely my fault, they shipped me a replacement immediately for no charge. It's been quite a while since a company stood behind its products to that degree or any degree at all.

The documentation is excellent - it defines exactly where to shift the bonded neutral to a floating neutral - and if you don't fully understand that, before you do anything with the generator and connecting it to your house, call an electrician (I am an electrician). This generator would be far safer with a grounding rod connection if you are running it all by its lonesome, but if you connect to your house panel you need to understand the grounding or you could kill yourself or a utility lineman.

I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.
BUYER BE WARE !!!

Buyer be ware ! Before you purchase a Westinghouse generator you better be sure there is someone that is a Westinghouse repair center near you. My electric start broke before it had 50 hours, called their tech support person and the companies they gave me weren't even a service person for Westinghouse. Finally they found someone to repair it, but they are 2 hours away from me and then 2 hours back home, then 2 hours to go get it and again 2 hours home. I don't have that kind of time to do all that traveling !! If you read the reviews there is another person who mentioned good luck getting service. I live just south of Jacksonville Fl. Should have bought a DeWalt !
Useless - Hurricane relief warning!!

Unfortunately I had a dreadful experience with this product. I live in Anguilla where we have just survived the worst hurricane on record. We lost power and so I thought I would order a generator to tide me over until electricity could be restored (estimated 3 - 6 months). I saw this generator was a prime choice, so I read some of the reviews and decided to go for it.
Long story short, the generator arrived after being shipped from the US, almost 3 weeks. I had a qualified electrician lined up and he came and connected the generator to my home. It started wonderfully using the remote (excellent feature by the way) and we let it run for about 10 minutes but it was the middle of the morning and so no need to waste the gas. On getting home that evening, I started the generator and went into the house to settle in for the evening. After approximately 30 minutes of running fine the house was plunged into darkness with my son in the shower, but the generator was still running. I went out to check and turned it off, let it rest for a few minutes and then tried again but still no lights or power in the house. I left if for the evening and called my electrician the following morning. He came to see what was going on and ran some tests and found that there was no power coming from the generator.
As it was a Saturday I had to wait until Monday to get a response from Westinghouse. I called and left my number but no one took the time to call me back. When I called again, I was told that the warranty did not apply outside the US, okay fair enough but then the guy offered no assistance just told me to ship it back at my expense and they'd see what was wrong and ship it back again at my expense. I paid over $130 to get this generator shipped plus the cost of the generator and to be told I'd have to pay a further $260 to get it fixed AND MORE IMPORTANTLY to still be without power was very frustrating.
Upon doing some google searches I have read other comments from dissatisfied customers who also only got 30 minutes use from this generator. So my advice is to avoid this at all costs. Perhaps those other persons lived in the US and so were able to get some assistance and maybe a replacement who knows. But for us in other countries that have perhaps survived a hurricane or other disaster we have been faced with another major set back from what I thought was a reputable company. Very disappointing!!
Michigan Winter Ready!

I do read reviews. Long story short, obviously bought this one. Live in SW Michigan and the power RARELY goes out. Has gone out twice in the last month. Buying a generator was not my idea. Wife looked at me after the last power outage and simply said to me..... you know what you are doing this weekend? I said no. She replied..... buying a generator!! OK. Bought this and a Pro Trans transfer switch, of which you can read my review on that (which is A+++).

Thing takes 10 minutes to put the wheels and handles on, and runs like a charm. We took it for test drive, and it powers up what we need...... and then some.

If you have no clue how to wire a generator to your house...... read my ProTrans Transfer switch review, then watch their YouTube video. Like putting Lego blocks together....... really that easy. They make it so easy for anyone.

*** 3/11/17 UPDATE ***

Worked great during the test run, but let me down when we the power went out a week ago. Dead battery, and I keep it on a battery minder. OK, pulled the cord starter. Cord broke on the 1st pull. Jumper cables to the car, and it still wouldn't turn over, though was trying. Hmmm. Removed the cord starter assembly thinking something was locked up. Sure enough, fired right up after that. What a pain!! Hooked the battery up to my smart charger and it simply says "replace battery". Wow, thing is brand new. Have yet to find a replacement battery that is the same size, so I'm a bit frustrated. Fixed the cord starter (ordered a new handle on Amazon).

When it runs it runs great and does the job, but should not be having these problems with a brand new gen.
