The cables are heavy gage and exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is you have to be a magician to wind them small enough to get them back into the carrying case and zip it shut. That's not a big issue as I wanted a LONG set of cables. Any old pillow case will do. The main thing is they grip the poles on the battery and they feel like good quality.
