TLDR: I highly recommend this camera system, as I've been quite impressed so far.
Pros: Excellent camera and monitor image quality. Excellent nighttime and low light performance. Fairly easy user interface.
Cons: Sometimes tripped up by very bright lighting. SD card door is secured with a screw (why?!). Had some occasional signal issues.

I bought this after accidentally smashing my Furrion screen. We just returned from a weeklong camping trip and in short, for about a hundred bucks, this is a stellar upgrade from the Furrion Vision S.

The camera was relatively easy to install into the existing Furrion bracket on my Geo Pro camper. I had to install it upside-down to get the angle I wanted. It's not as wide-angle (less of a fisheye) as the Furrion was, so I can't see both the horizon and the camper bumper. You can choose a free gift with your purchase (read the instruction booklet), so I'll get the free extra camera to help with this. It plugged right into the existing wiring with the short adapter and all the excess easily fit back into the Furrion bracket.

The image quality is SO much better than the Furrion. The big screen is SO much better than the 4.3" I had. Low light quality is fantastic. I couldn't get a picture because I was driving, but the image shown on the monitor at dusk is more clear than real life out the windshield. Maybe it has the starlight camera sensor because I could see clearly in color well after the sun dipped below the horizon. In fact, the camera switched to black and white and then would switch back to color when braking because the brake lights provided enough light to do so.

The user interface is fine. Most importantly, there's nothing that's frustrating about it, just things that could be a little bit better. In very bright light, such as the sun being visible onscreen or sometimes bright headlights behind you, the camera sometimes got tripped up. With the sun, you'd see a black circle around the sun disk, which doesn't affect performance. With bright headlights sometimes, the surrounding darker areas were affected and you couldn't see as well because the camera didn't adjust overall brightness down. The SD card door is secured by a screw, which I really don't like. It doesn't stay in place without the screw. I'll probably just leave the door off entirely so I can retain easy access to the SD card, but it leaves a not-insignificant opening to the internal circuitry. Since I do some off-roading and dirt road driving, I worry dust will get in there and cause a premature failure. I wish it was just a standard SD card slot without a door at all. At the least, the door should stay in place without a screw.

Overall, I'm very happy and quite impressed. You won't be disappointed by this camera at its price point.

I put it on the back of a travel trailer. It nicely lights up things around it for easy backing. The up-down range is too shallow to see cars behind that are farther than 20 or 30 yards. If I adjusted it for that, I wouldn't be able to see where I'm backing.
The suction cup mount for the monitor is a waste. The monitor is too heavy and it just pulls the suction cup right off the glass. I just set it on the dash and it works fine. Besides, once the sun hits the cup, the air under it expands and it lets go.
I got a 2d camera for the free option (instructions on how to get it are in the manual). I'll mount it in a horse trailer that we use to haul llamas so I can keep an eye on what they're doing back there.

We recently purchased a new Forest River NoBo that came pre-wired for the Furrion system. I was told by our sales rep that Amazon had some great options that were more budget friendly. I came across the Amtifo camera system, the price fit my budget and the reviews looked promising so I placed the order.
I was impressed from the second that I opened the box. Everything was professionally packed, sealed and calling my name to dig into this box of goody's!! Nothing was missing and found the installation to be very intuitive. While I watched them the videos, it really wasn't necessary. I did appreciate that they included a special adapter for testing the unit in your vehicle before installation to make sure everything worked. With the pre-wired set up on my camper, installation only took about 10 minutes. I hooked up my truck and voila... I was instantly looking behind my camper on a crystal clear, real time, image!! My headaches of towing down the interstate will now go away!!!
Be sure to read the instructions and send Amtifo an email. They are very friendly people and willing to send you a free gift for contacting them. I opted for a second camera to which I have figured out a way to power without the truck on my campers 12v system. This will allow me to have a security camera and monitor on the front of the camper when we are boondocking at the beach. With the SD card to record the video, I will be able to capture those teenagers who decide to steal my cooler full of beer if they show up again!!
Highly recommend this system!! I am looking forward to using it more on future trips.

We installed this camera where our Furrion camera was. It was very nice to be able to use that wiring. Camera has a nice screen and picture. While we are admittedly mechanically challenged, there need to be instructions for the installation. Going to various You Tube videos for other cameras didn't help us a lot and was a pain. Two things we needed to know were that the adapter plate goes on the Furrion plastic cover piece, not on the rubber piece on the trailer, and that once you have installed the camera and it won't work, try putting the monitor on Channel 2. Those two bits of information would have saved us at least a couple of hours and having to take the camera back down. Just a short instruction sheet would save a lot of headaches, at least for those of us who are mechanically challenged. We emailed customer service on Saturday and they got back to us very early Monday morning. We had already figured it out by then, but we appreciated their quick response. Would definitely buy again. 5 stars for camera and 2 stars for lack of instructions.

Update: We love this camera! Nice addition to our mirrors. Can see everything behind us and beside us. We would definitely buy again!
